Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking a Project Manager for our national Cultural Projects team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage design management for cultural and performing arts projects.
- Collaborate with professionals to align project goals with specifications.
- Support the design process, including reviewing drawings.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Manage procurement strategies and oversee move management.
- Facilitate communication, prepare reports, and ensure compliance.
- Proactively manage risks and performance metrics.
- Coordinate commissioning, closeout, and training programs.
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in performing arts venue planning.
- Conduct technical production equipment and infrastructure assessments.
- Establish project governance and systems.
- Maintain knowledge of industry practices.
- Cultivate client relationships.
- Contribute to proposal development.
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of cultural projects Project Management experience.
- Public sector project experience.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage projects.
- Strategic advisory skills.
- Great time management skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Experienced team member.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project.
- Commitment to information management.
- Ability / willingness to travel nationally.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and sites.
- Ability to present to large groups.
Education / Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management within the performing arts industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Active member in relevant organizations preferred.
- Performing arts experience preferred.
The salary range for this full-time role is $115K-$130K per year.
