We are recruiting an external client-facing Project Manager with a background in large-scale software implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering all aspects of a project through go-live and into service.
- Tracking deadlines, milestones, and processes to required quality, time, and cost.
- Managing client implementations from contract signature to go-live, including resource planning, stakeholder management (force, 3rd party contractors), and coordinating resources from internal/external teams.
- Managing escalations and addressing issues.
- Attending and running internal boards to senior stakeholders.
- Representing NEC in all customer meetings and adhering to the NEC delivery budget.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Proven experience as a project manager of significant software implementations.
- Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques and methods.
- Strong project management knowledge and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and project management software.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
- Numerate, methodical, approachable, and excellent communicator.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand and report on the budget.
- Proven ability to self-manage and remain productive under pressure.
- Professionally presented and a great ambassador for the company.
- Positive work ethic including willingness to work extended hours where appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
- Preferably Degree or equivalent.
- PRINCE2 practitioner.
