Full-Time Project Manager - Railroad Bridge

As a Project Manager on our Railroad Bridge team, you will lead projects, ensuring successful deliverables for complex, high-priority projects that may span multiple teams.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress for financial success and timely completion.
• Manage complex contract negotiations.
• Execute project plans by assembling/managing teams, coordinating resources, and assigning responsibilities, ensuring technical alignment with project objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between all project parties.
• Monitor progress, measure project performance, and ensure deliverables align with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage change requests, execute risk management, and minimize negative financial impact.
• Coordinate technical work reviews to ensure quality and adherence to project contract terms.
• Maintain positive client relationships and focus on exceptional service to secure future work.
• Document all project deliverables and maintain comprehensive records (correspondence, design plans, etc.).
• Mentor staff on project management best practices, utilizing Olsson Project Management programs.
• Adhere to regulations and enforce safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; or Associate Degree with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience supporting railroad projects for CSX/CPKC.
• Proven track record of exceeding client expectations.
• Excellent client service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Solid interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• High-level organization, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of Olsson's business operations.
• Commitment to driving organizational success.
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred.
• Experience with Microstation, Risa 3D analysis, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Valid driver's license and good driving history.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as required.

Salary: $126,000 - $174,000 (commensurate with experience)
