Full-Time Project Origination Manager

Role Purpose: To lay the groundwork for successful large-scale PV or BESS projects by securing land lease agreements for project-relevant parcels. This secures a solid project foundation for further development. Once contracts are finalized, the project is passed to the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Executing land acquisition for solar and BESS projects.
• Negotiating lease agreements with landowners and municipalities.
• Utilizing GIS and IT solutions to identify and evaluate potential projects.
• Reviewing and managing project documents and contracts.
• Collaborating with the project development team to meet deadlines.
• Engaging with external partners, landowners, and consultants.
• Ensuring efficient communication, information management, and documentation.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (landowners, municipalities, partners).
• Preparing and negotiating contract and expense sign-offs.
• Utilizing GIS systems for site identification and managing project documentation.
• Essential Traits: Flexibility, willingness to travel.
• Qualifications: Vocational qualification required, university degree preferred.
• Experience: Experience in PV, wind, or battery storage project development and construction. Understanding of technical, resource, and financial project feasibility is essential. Commercial energy sector experience, networking with grid operators, authorities, and municipalities is desirable.
• Essential Skills: Strong sales experience, passion for working with people, proficiency in negotiation and contract management, strong understanding of the technical, resource, and financial aspects of renewable energy project development.
• Additional: Hands-on experience in developing/constructing large-scale projects. Relevant renewable energy certifications beneficial. Fluency in German is essential, English proficiency preferred.
