Full-Time Project Specialist, Apprenticeship Initiatives

We are seeking a Project Specialist to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges.

The LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network supports meaningful connections between students and employers in California through work-based learning and support services.

Our role is to support efforts to bring relevancy and real-world experience to students in California through growing the quantity and quality of work-based learning, with an emphasis on registered apprenticeship.

The Project Specialist advances the Foundation for California Community Colleges’ statewide apprenticeship work by providing high-level administrative, coordination, and communications support for two multi-million-dollar initiatives.

• Maintain project plans, deliverable trackers, and risk logs
• Collect status updates from internal work-stream leads and track KPIs in simple dashboards
• Draft success stories, newsletter articles, web copy, social-media posts, slide decks, and infographics that highlight project milestones and impact

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Must be a self-starter, quick learner, problem solver, and highly motivated
