Full-Time Remote Coding Auditor

Coding Auditor-
Coding audits - audit the coding by the vendors for both inpatient and outpatient surgical cases. Provide correct codes when there are errors and site resources that support code choices.
Pre-service scheduling coding review - review medical records prior to date of service to determine if the correct codes have been used on the physician order to book the surgery.
Pre-service DRG review - review inpatient cases prior to date of admission to identify comorbidities that may affect DRG assignment.
