Job Summary
Manages project execution from start to guarantee period, ensuring objectives are met.
Experience
- High-level planning, development, implementation, and management of complex EPC projects within time and budget constraints.
- Strong background in Scope Management, Conflict Resolution, Risk Management, and Project Management for successful project completion (short and long-term).
- Demonstrated ability to assess client needs and communicate with stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Define and organize contract execution methods.
- Manage project team, ensuring understanding of project stakes, objectives, and responsibilities.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders for contract fulfillment.
- Report major impacts immediately.
- Define project objectives, plans, actions, and budgets (costs and revenues).
- Assess and control project budget and planning. Issue progress reports.
- Assess project risks and opportunities.
- Manage project changes and claims.
- Participate in technical meetings.
- Resolve issues with technical experts.
- Address critical issues with discipline engineers.
- Validate, follow-up, and implement action plans.
- Participate in material coordination and project planning with manufacturing facilities.
- Work closely with PSI leadership to ensure service manufacturing is on schedule.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Advanced computer skills (MS Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD, Primavera P6, SAP).
- Experience in EP and EPC projects (domestic and international industrial markets, including oil and gas, power, and chemical sectors).
- Skills in dealing with EPC contractors in challenging environments.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project engineering and project management of capital equipment contracts.
- Experience in EP and EPC projects (domestic and international industrial markets, including oil and gas, power, and chemical sectors).
- Experience within the Water or Wastewater Industry (preferred).
Preferred
- P. Eng. Certification
- PMP Certification
Working Conditions
- Travel (approx. 20%) may be required.
