Full-Time Remote Medical Billing Specialist

We are seeking a remote Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in the healthcare industry. The Medical Billing Specialist will be handling various responsibilities related to patient billing, insurance claims, and account management.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed
• Handle pre-AR operations before claims are sent out
• Follow up with insurance companies after claims are sent
• Post insurance payments accurately and promptly
• Work closely with patients to answer questions and set up payment plans
• Participate in regular training to stay updated on the latest billing processes and software
• Perform routine operations related to medical billing and claim administration.
