At Syngenta, we are building a collaborative and trusted agriculture team providing leading seeds and crop protection innovations to help farmers grow their best crop. We are seeking a Remote Territory Sales Representative for the Crop Protection Sales team in Regina, Saskatchewan.
As a Territory Sales Representative, you will:
- Build strong customer relationships and generate interest/demand for the Syngenta Crop Protection portfolio within your assigned geography.
- Develop territory plan to meet sales targets by analyzing market trends for growth opportunities.
- Complete product forecasting requirements.
- Achieve annual sales target for crop protection.
- Develop/implement local field marketing plans.
- Foster meaningful relationships using discovery skills to understand retailer/grower needs.
- Develop retailer business plans integrating offers to growers.
- Deliver/reconcile programs/segmented offers to retailers.
- Communicate the value of the portfolio to stakeholders.
- Train/develop retailers in effectively positioning products to growers, creating awareness through demonstrations & trials.
- Provide product service & support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 1+ year Ag industry experience, or Diploma with 10+ years of experience.
- Understanding of financial analysis, general business issues/practices.
- Strong strategic influencing/negotiation skills.
- Excellent project management skills (handling multiple tasks).
- Excellent understanding of marketing principles, plan development, brand strategies, & best practices.
- Clear/effective decision-making with a data-driven approach.
