AECOM is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Renewables Energy to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a servant leader with a proven track record of growing profitable teams and driving successful Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and wind projects.
This role will leverage AI and global resources to deliver innovative and sustainable energy solutions at market price points. The individual should have a passion for renewable energy and excel in working with IOU and developer clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of professionals focused on delivering renewable energy projects, including Solar, BESS, and wind
- Drive the growth and profitability of the renewables team by identifying new business opportunities and optimizing project delivery
- Utilize AI and global resources to enhance project efficiency, innovation, and sustainability
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that emphasizes servant leadership and professional development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, actively selling AECOM services
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations
- Hire, train, and mentor staff, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for success
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to keep AECOM at the forefront of the renewables sector
