Support life sciences companies in advancing life science products (monoclonal antibodies, therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics, and devices), primarily in public health/infectious diseases, through project management services.
- Provide consulting services to LBG’s clients.
- Support daily project/portfolio management activities: meeting minutes, action tracking/follow-up, decision tracking, etc.
- Contribute to project/portfolio management deliverables (reports, dashboards, etc.) & routine updates (schedule, budget, risk).
- Coordinate across project functional areas/personnel.
- Monitor collaborators/vendors to ensure deliverables/technical milestones are met on time/budget.
- Support building/management of a team (various functions/sites), managing multiple projects/teams.
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork & navigate different areas/multidisciplinary teams.
- Balance project demands to support alignment/realignment of Budget, Quality, Timeline, and Scope.
- Support product development meetings and ensure Project Leaders/sub-team leaders have necessary info/support.
- Focus on customer service with agility & clear communication.
Requirements:
- PhD scientist with 2-5 years of experience in biologics/vaccine research, monoclonal antibody development, and recent scientific publications (highly desired)
- At least 2 years of project management experience in discovery/pre-clinical/early product development
- Strong understanding of the product development pathway
- Experience managing projects & understanding of project management principles
- Fluency in collaborative project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Office Timeline Pro, or similar tools), Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good written/oral communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity, with a sense of personal ownership
- Works well with teams comprised of multiple disciplines
