The Residential Solar Operations Manager role will oversee the installation and development of solar energy systems.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and oversee the entire lifecycle of residential solar installations. Coordinate with customers, installers, and other stakeholders. Track project progress. Manage project software platforms.
- Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact. Provide project updates and address concerns. Explain solar systems and installation.
- Coordination: Manage and coordinate with installers, subcontractors. Ensure adherence to timelines and safety guidelines.
- Regulatory Compliance and Documentation: Ensure installations meet regulations. Complete permits and documentation.
- Post-Installation Support: Oversee post-installation inspections. Address issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in residential solar or renewable energy project management.
- In-depth knowledge of solar technology, installation, and industry standards.
- Strong project management skills, including managing multiple projects.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read construction plans.
- Experience with solar design software and project management tools.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
