Contractor Retention Marketing Specialist

Retention Marketing Specialist for PHI Direct and Furkin.

Help build a pack of members across Canada and expand internationally.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong digital marketing background, focusing on member/customer communications, onboarding, email marketing, social media, and loyalty/rewards.
• Experienced with HubSpot (or similar CRM) for data management, list building, and contact segmentation.
• Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in an intrapreneurial environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Optimize marketing channels for customer retention.
• Report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Team, Care Team, and IT on campaign launches, maintenance, and evolution.
• Work with external agencies on social assets and campaign development.
• Identify data needs for personalization and dynamic content.
• Utilize A/B testing, segmentation, and behavioral targeting for maximum engagement.
• Build segmentation and targeting logic, set up automations, and identify dynamic content requirements.
• Improve retention rates through various digital channels (web, email, social).
• Build, maintain, and optimize email campaigns (member onboarding, promotions, newsletters).
• Manage member stories, user-generated content (UGC), and surprise-and-delight opportunities.
• Manage content library for policyholder and claims communications.
• Provide administrative support (e.g., pet loss sympathy, claims forms, email inboxes, social monitoring).
• Manage refer-a-friend program and support member initiatives.
• Manage both brands' social media accounts (content creation and comment management).

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of relevant marketing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience writing for SEO (preferred).
• Proficiency with email marketing tools (MailChimp, HubSpot, etc.).

Required Skills:

• Email coding knowledge (HTML, CSS).
• Proficiency with HubSpot (or similar CRM).
• Proficiency with Canva and design software (Adobe).
• Excellent copywriting skills.
• Understanding of survey management tools.
• Solid understanding of project management software (Asana, Jira, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven optimization.
• Tenacity in learning new skills, problem-solving.
• Independent, efficient, and effective in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented.
• Positive, creative, and innovative mindset.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000 (full-time equivalent).
