Project – the aim you’ll have
Join our dedicated team working on a high-impact project for one of our UK-based clients. As Delivery Manager you should focus on effectively managing implementations, upgrades, change controls, and key deliveries using agile project management methodologies. It plays a crucial role in the client company's growth by ensuring efficient and predictable plans and processes tailored to customer needs.
A multidisciplinary approach is required, integrating process, technology, people, and data to solve complex challenges. Collaboration with internal and external subject matter experts and business process owners is essential for driving successful outcomes.
A key aspect of the project is translating business requirements into functional solutions while ensuring alignment with established processes. Additionally, the project emphasizes the adoption and promotion of best practices to maintain efficiency and consistency in execution. Its successful implementation contributes to increased operational predictability and enhanced customer satisfaction.
Position – how you’ll contribute
Ensure confidence in the proposed solution by guaranteeing it meets scope, time, cost, and quality expectations.
Lead the creation and ongoing maintenance of technical project initiation documents, incorporating input from cross-functional teams (e.g., User Requirement Specification).
Oversee the execution and tracking of the project delivery plan, ensuring all tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies are clearly communicated across both client and internal project teams.
Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues, taking full ownership to resolve them promptly and effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure accurate and effective system configuration aligned with client-approved documentation to meet their specific needs.
Take ownership of client ‘hypercare’ post-implementation, upgrades, and change controls, ensuring all issues are effectively resolved before project closure and full handover to Customer Success.
Support system validation by ensuring configurations and system performance meet expectations, proactively preventing defects from reaching the client.
Contribute to continuous system and process improvements, focusing on enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
Assist in the development of client and project start-up documentation in accordance with company SOPs.
Provide pre-sales support in collaboration with Business Development, including input into proposals and contracts.
Take on additional reasonable responsibilities aligned with skills and expertise as required.
Expectations – the experience you need
Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as a Delivery Manager.
Ideally holds a degree, though relevant industry experience will also be considered.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Proven success in customer-facing roles.
Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a “can do” attitude
Strong ability to interpret business needs, translate them into functional requirements, and uphold established processes.
Willingness to travel for customer meetings and adapt to different time zones.
Customer-focused mindset, dedicated to understanding and advocating for customer needs, with a willingness to develop expertise in the company’s product for effective support and troubleshooting.
