The SaaS Systems Engineer will be part of a team responsible for day-to-day operation of various SaaS delivery environments, as well as ongoing initiatives to ensure demonstrated levels of reliability, scalability, and quality of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day monitoring of the production service delivery environment to ensure optimal operation and SLA adherence.
- Identify optimization opportunities and resolve problems affecting service delivery.
- Operate and maintain systems supporting new customer, application, and feature provisioning.
- Provide insight on trends requiring proactive action.
- Participate in software design and development to ensure operational efficiency.
- Software deployment and configuration management in Quality Assurance and Production environments.
- Develop tools and utilities in support of Operations.
- Provide level 2/3 support for customer issues.
- Maintain and improve IT infrastructure (servers, laptops, networks, telecommunications).
- Deliver outstanding help desk support to employees.
- Establish, maintain, and manage vendors for hardware, software, and services.
- Identify systems deficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Document forecasts, plans, and resolutions.
- Innovate, promote, and drive adoption of tools, technologies, policies, and procedures.
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years corporate infrastructure experience (preferably in software development).
- 5+ years evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating enterprise technologies.
- 4+ years administering Windows/Linux environments.
- 3+ years with relational databases and SQL.
- 3+ years with AWS/Azure.
- 3+ years in scripting and programming.
- 2+ years with help desk, network connectivity, and telecommunications activities.
Additional Skills:
- VMware experience
- Automation using VB, PowerShell, or similar scripting
- Deploying and managing virtualized infrastructure
- Familiarity with HTML, SCC, Java, and ASP.Net

Compensation: $100,000-$115,000 annually.
