Job Details
Purpose: Generate profitable new sales through active client engagement. Utilize various sales techniques, including marketing campaigns, to surpass new business targets.
Work Schedule: Home-based role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Sell company services/products to meet targets, KPIs, and business objectives.
- Generate prospects, follow up leads, attend sales meetings, create quotes, and convert quotes into new business.
- Handle customer interactions (teams, email, telephone, face-to-face). Provide excellent customer service and product advice.
- Proactively pursue assurance sales.
- Maintain up-to-date CRM and other company systems.
- Contribute to sales/marketing strategies, identifying market sectors, opportunities, and threats.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on marketing initiatives (social media, mail shots, collateral).
- Perform cost/benefit and gap analysis of customers to meet needs and grow business.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Meet sales goals & objectives as agreed with line manager.
- Lead qualify, cold call, and follow up on business quotes.
- Uphold company integrity and image.

- Perform other commensurate duties.
Requirements:
- Industry experience (ideally assurance, food assurance, food, food manufacturing, food retail).
- Proven sales ability.
- Strong business/industry acumen.
- Ability to present complex information face-to-face.
- Tenacious and target-driven.
- Excellent presentation, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Commitment to customer care.
- Adaptability to sell to diverse customer bases.
- Proven experience meeting and exceeding targets.
