Job Details

Purpose: Generate profitable new sales through active client engagement. Utilize various sales techniques, including marketing campaigns, to surpass new business targets.

Work Schedule: Home-based role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell company services/products to meet targets, KPIs, and business objectives.
  • Generate prospects, follow up leads, attend sales meetings, create quotes, and convert quotes into new business.
  • Handle customer interactions (teams, email, telephone, face-to-face). Provide excellent customer service and product advice.
  • Proactively pursue assurance sales.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM and other company systems.
  • Contribute to sales/marketing strategies, identifying market sectors, opportunities, and threats.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on marketing initiatives (social media, mail shots, collateral).
  • Perform cost/benefit and gap analysis of customers to meet needs and grow business.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Meet sales goals & objectives as agreed with line manager.
  • Lead qualify, cold call, and follow up on business quotes.
  • Uphold company integrity and image.
  • Demonstrate core values.
  • Perform other commensurate duties.

Requirements:

  • Industry experience (ideally assurance, food assurance, food, food manufacturing, food retail).
  • Proven sales ability.
  • Strong business/industry acumen.
  • Ability to present complex information face-to-face.
  • Tenacious and target-driven.
  • Excellent presentation, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Commitment to customer care.
  • Adaptability to sell to diverse customer bases.
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding targets.
