PURPOSE: This position provides primary support for ABAP programming, leading development solutions, collaborating with offshore teams and Korea HQ to enhance/implement best practices. Accountable for ERP project assessment and execution, including service delivery on CBU's SAP ERP instance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver quality products as an ABAP technical lead and lead ABAP Projects.
- Provide programming solutions to various SAP functional areas.
- Respond to SAP ABAP production Issues and Research causes of problems.
- Propose and test corrective action with user departments.
- Work with functional consultants for integration tests.
- Perform routine duties, maintain SAP system records and reports.
- Perform other duties as required by management.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:
- Helps businesses implement technology solutions cost-effectively by determining project/program requirements and communicating them to stakeholders.
- Works with management and end-users to improve or re-engineer business processes for higher efficiency.
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 (DOE)/yr.
Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent.
Related Work Experience:
- 3+ years' IT experience
- 3+ years' experience solving business problems with technology, preferably in Automotive or Manufacturing
- Hands-on ABAP programming experience
- Ability to set expectations, explain technical concepts
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interaction skills
- Proven ability to work in a problem-solving environment
- Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills
- Strong system troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Knowledge of programming techniques (dialog programming, BDC, SAP Script, Smart Form)
- In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and various modules (PP/MM/SD/FI/CO/HR/BW)
- S/4 Hana knowledge is a plus
Certifications: SAP ABAP certification preferred
