PURPOSE: This position provides primary support for ABAP programming, leads development solutions, acts as liaison with offshore teams, and collaborates with Korea HQ to enhance/implement best practices. The SAP ABAP Developer is responsible for ERP project and enhancement assessment and execution, including service delivery on CBU's SAP ERP instance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver quality products as an ABAP technical lead and lead ABAP Projects
- Provide programming solutions to various SAP functional areas
- Respond to SAP ABAP production issues and research causes of problems
- Propose and test corrective action with user department
- Work with functional consultants for integration tests
- Perform routine duties in accordance with procedures for regular tasks
- Keep records, prepare reports, issue/update/maintain addresses for SAP systems with ABAP perspective
- Perform other duties as required by management

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:
- Helps businesses implement technology solutions cost-effectively by determining project/program requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders
- Works with management and end-users to improve or re-engineer current business processes for higher operation efficiency
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 (DOE)/yr
Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
Related Work Experience (Yrs.): 3+ years' experience in the IT field. 3 or more years solving business problems with technology, preferably in Automotive or Manufacturing. Hands-on ABAP programming experience is required. Ability to set expectations, explain technical concepts, translate details into tasks, excellent customer service, verbal/written communication, diverse group interaction (executives, managers, SMEs), creative/analytical problem-solving, strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills. Strong system troubleshooting and analytical skills. Broad knowledge of programming techniques (dialog programming, BDC, SAP Script, Smart Form). In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and modules (PP/MM/SD/FI/CO/HR/BW). S/4 Hana knowledge is a plus.
Certifications (Required/Preferred): SAP ABAP certification preferred
