Contractor SAP S/4HANA RISE PCE Segmentation Expert

Role Summary: The SAP S/4HANA RISE PCE – Segmentation Expert will lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Segmentation functionality in a fast-paced, live environment. Working closely with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Finance, IT), this consultant will drive best practices for inventory segmentation, allocation, and prioritization, ensuring the new processes align with evolving business requirements in retail and fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Segmentation Blueprint & Design
   • Analyze existing channel and inventory processes (e-commerce, retail, wholesale, emerging segments).
   • Collaborate with business users to define segmentation use cases, data flows, and reallocation scenarios.
   • Establish guidelines for managing and updating segment assignments based on inventory insights.
2. Configuration & Deployment
   • Configure SAP S/4HANA RISE PCE Segmentation functionalities, minimizing disruption.
   • Integrate segmentation with relevant SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP) and external tools.
   • Set up prioritization rules for sales orders, stock transport orders, or store orders within a segment.
3. Inventory Management & Data Integration
   • Define integration touchpoints with third-party systems (e.g., ChannelApe, 3PLs).
   • Facilitate data feeds to planning tools, ensuring accuracy and synchronization.
4. Change Management & Reallocation
   • Establish processes for inventory reallocation among segments based on market demands.
   • Develop and validate standard use cases for reallocation decisions.
5. Documentation & Stakeholder Engagement
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders for process alignment.
   • Document Segmentation best practices, user guides, and decision frameworks.
   • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for end users and teams.
