Full-Time Scheduler & Sr. Scheduler

Project Scheduler is responsible for overseeing project scheduling activities for assigned projects. Creates schedules based on knowledge of schedule development and construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual schedules with minimal input from project team.
• Maintain schedule durations database.
• Develop project schedule baselines using well-defined activities.
• Provide status updates, forecasts, and reports.
• Develop project schedule layouts and alternate schedules.
• Review vendor/subcontractor monthly schedule updates.
• Verify accuracy of schedule updates.
• Understand project flow and logistics.
• Support ongoing projects, work with project managers and discipline leads on status, improvements, delays.
• Recommend workarounds to keep project on track.
• Perform other duties as requested by project management.

Senior Scheduler Responsibilities:

• Lead scheduling on large/small commercial projects.
• Assemble/analyze project information, prepare understandable documents to eliminate discrepancies.
• Develop detailed schedules with project team and trade partners.
• Monitor projects according to set schedules and departmental procedures.
• Input, analyze, and monitor design deliverables, procurement, and construction schedules.
• Develop internal/external project status reports.
• Apply planning/scheduling and cost techniques/methods, evaluate, analyze, modify standards for problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 5-10 years of industrial/commercial construction experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera 6.
• Experience on $20M+ commercial projects.
• Vertical construction experience (mid-rise, high-rise, data center, distribution center projects).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP cost management tools, Excel, and Word.
• Well-rounded knowledge in construction disciplines.
