SEC Reporting Manager is needed at ServiceNow, with a positive attitude, motivated to learn and grow, and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This critical role plays a key part in SEC reporting and ESG readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the SEC reporting process and ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP, including Form 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K filings (earnings releases) with XBRL requirements.
- Monitor, assess, and implement new accounting pronouncements.
- Be a trusted business partner and advisor to stakeholders in Accounting, Finance, Legal, and other teams.
- Collaborate with ESG reporting and sustainability teams on ESG regulatory reporting.
- Support project management related to CSRD readiness and other regulatory ESG reporting.
- Take initiative for process improvements.
- Support proxy filings and quality assurance procedures.
- Assist with control updates and assessing control gaps/process changes.
- Research and document technical accounting issues; present and resolve positions with external auditors.
- Assist with global statutory reporting of international subsidiaries.
- Coordinate audit support with external auditors.
- Support special projects and workflow improvements.
Requirements:
- Managerial experience in SEC reporting with Earnings release experience.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Strong technical accounting background (US GAAP, SOX 404, SEC standards).
- Knowledge of ESG regulations and reporting (CSRD, TCFD, ISSB, etc.).
- Minimum 7 years of experience, including 3-4 years of Big Four public accounting.
- BS/BA in Finance/Accounting and CPA required.
- Proactive problem-solving and impactful communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with Workiva and SAP JV20.
Compensation: $124,700 - $218,300 base pay, plus equity, incentives, and benefits.
