Senior A&E Construction Quality Monitor

At AECOM, we are recruiting a Senior A&E Construction Quality Monitor to join us in our Dublin office.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Associate or Project Director to manage and deliver capital investment projects.
• Lead and manage teams on technically complex projects.
• Develop collaborative relationships with clients and team members.
• Engage Tier 1 and Tier 2 Main Contractors.
• Understand site processes and project programs.
• Plot inspection plans that match projects.
• Possess Senior Project Manager attributes and acute technical awareness for construction.
• Be a day-to-day client point of contact.
• Understand, monitor, and update projects with AECOM Project Execution Plan (PEP).
• Ensure AECOM policies are upheld.
• Lead and mentor junior team members.
• Deliver AECOM service to the highest quality.
• Proactively manage projects.
• Possess experience with BCAR process on major projects.
• Be aware of BCAR terminology, roles, and responsibilities.
• Support the Assigned Certifier (AC) on previous projects.
• Have awareness of Building Control Act (2014).
• Prepare inspection plans for projects eligible for BCAR process.
• Develop strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Contribute to project delivery.
• Understand design, detail, and construction drawings.
• Understand detailed design, construction issues, and as-built cycle.
• Experience in design and build projects is an advantage.
• Experience in comparable consultancy environment or client organization.
• Understand project governance and procurement processes.
• Develop long-term relationships with team members.
• Manage internal resources, including training and mentoring.
• Experience with compliance assessments, Technical Guidance Documents, and Building Regulations.
• Possess strong business acumen.
• Support Director/Associate with developing and delivering commercial targets.
• CAD skills are an advantage.
• Excel, presentation, Word, and reporting writing skills.
• Good IT skills (Excel, Word, MS Teams, MS SharePoint).
• Tablet site inspection reporting.
