Senior A&E Construction Quality Monitor
Work with Associate or Project Director to manage and deliver capital investment projects.
Lead and manage teams on technically complex projects, develop collaborative relationships with clients and team members.
Engage Tier 1 and Tier 2 Main Contractors, understand site processes and project programs, plot inspection plans.
Possess Senior Project Manager attributes, acute technical awareness of construction.
Day-to-day client point of contact for projects with knowledgeable and proactive approach.
Understand, monitor, and update projects with AECOM Project Execution Plan (PEP), and uphold AECOM policies.
Lead experienced teams, deliver AECOM PPP projects by engaging with parties.
Maintain AECOM service delivery to highest quality, proactively manage projects, mentor junior team members.
Possess project management attributes, acute technical awareness of construction.
Day-to-day client point of contact for projects, knowledgeable and proactive approach.
Understand, monitor, and update projects with an AECOM Project Execution Plan (PEP), ensure AECOM policies are upheld.
Experience in BCAR process on major projects, aware of terminology and AC roles (Assigned Certifier).
Awareness of Building Control Act (2014), prepare inspection plans on projects eligible for BCAR process.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Good experience of contributing to project delivery, understanding design, detail, and construction drawings.
Good understanding of detailed design, construction issues, and as-built cycle.
Experience in design and build projects is an advantage.
Experience in comparable consultancy environments, or client organizations.
Good understanding of project Governance and procurement processes.
Develop long-term relationships with team members, balance people and processes.
Manage internal resources, training and mentoring of junior staff.
Experience with compliance assessments, current Technical Guidance Documents, and Building Regulations.
Good business acumen, support Director/Associate with commercial targets.
CAD skills are an advantage, Excel, presentation, Word, and reporting writing skills required.
Good IT skills, Excel, Word, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, tablet site inspection reporting.
