Job Summary:
AECOM is recruiting a Senior A&E Construction Quality Monitor in their Dublin office. This role involves managing capital investment projects, leading and managing teams, and developing collaborative relationships with clients and other team members.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver capital investment projects.
- Lead and manage technically complex projects.
- Develop collaborative relationships with clients and team members.
- Engage Tier 1 and Tier 2 Main Contractors.
- Understand site processes, project programs, and develop inspection plans.
- Act as a daily client point of contact, offering a knowledgeable and proactive approach.
- Monitor and update project progress against the AECOM Project Execution Plan (PEP).
- Ensure adherence to AECOM policies.
- Lead and mentor junior team members.
- Communicate with clients.
- Manage and mentor junior team members.
- Conversing with the Building Control Approval process.
- Develop detailed design, construction, and issue tracking.
- Have a good understanding of project governance and procurement processes.
- Manage internal resources and training.
- Comply with Technical Guidance Documents, and Building Regulations.
- Possess strong business acumen.
- Support Director/Associate with commercial targets.
Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills
- Technical awareness of construction
- Experience with BCAR (Building Control Approval Route).
- Knowledge of Building Control Act (2014)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with design, detail and construction drawings.
- Good understanding of the detailed design, construction issue, and as-built cycle.
- Experience with design and build projects is an advantage.
- Experience in a consultancy environment or with a client organization.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), CAD (an advantage), and relevant IT tools.
