Full-Time Senior AI Embedded Software Engineer

Position OverviewDevelop and optimize AI accelerator chip software. Work at the intersection of hardware and software, designing bare-metal solutions for a specialized architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Enable and optimize software functionality on various host machines.
• Develop and maintain baremetal software for kernel execution.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Customer teams for seamless workload integration.
• Ensure efficient communication with low overheads.
• Use C, C++, Python, and automation tools, build systems (Make, CMake), and debugging utilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Computer Science/Software Engineering)
• 3+ years experience (academic experience considered)
• Experience with various host machines (x86, ARM, etc.)
• Exposure to accelerators, GPUs, or custom AI chips
• Understanding of embedded systems, microprocessors, microcontrollers, and embedded operating systems
• Low-level programming, device drivers, hardware/software integration experience
• Experience with system bring-up, debugging tools (gdb, JTAG), and performance tuning
• Proficient in Linux environments, scripting, and automation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

• PCI-Express and other communication protocol experience
• Yocto experience and custom Linux distributions
• Level Zero API, CUDA, OpenCL experience
