Integres seeks a senior application developer for developing, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting Maryland State Police data repositories. This role involves supporting web services for internal and external processes, serving MSP and allied partners, directly supporting FBI mandates for transitioning from summary-based to incident-based reporting. WCF Web Services and .NET languages are used to maintain the existing infrastructure.
The team uses Agile/Scrum methodology with Team Foundation Server (Azure DevOps) for source control and backlog. This is a Windows application development position using Winforms, WCF Web Services, .NET, DevExpress controls, and MVVM.
Duties include:
- Developing, maintaining, and supporting Maryland State Police data repositories.
- Improving functionality and reporting capabilities of data repositories.
- Maintaining and supporting the web portal for Maryland law enforcement agencies to report crime data in NIBRS format.
- Developing on-demand reporting accessible via the Maryland IBR System portal.
- Supporting NIBRS data repository and FBI submission processes in both certification and production.
- Participating in an Agile/Scrum environment supporting the Delta Plus modules.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of IT and business/industry experience.
- 3+ years (within the last 5 years) of software development experience in a mid to large corporation or similar-sized non-profit.
- 5+ years of C# and VB.NET Windows application development experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing systems using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services.
- Windows Forms experience
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) and its application in the software development cycle.
- Experience with Team Foundation Server (Azure DevOps).
- Experience with DevExpress controls.
- SQL database experience.
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
