AECOM is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager based in Ohio to lead and execute multidisciplinary projects focused on Federal, Civic/Municipal, Science & Technology, and Higher Education projects in a highly collaborative design-focused studio. This is a remote opportunity.
The role is responsible for managing scope, schedule, and budget across the project lifecycle – from conceptual studies to full design and construction administration.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing project staffing, reporting performance, and addressing scope creep, schedule, or quality issues.
- Developing deeply rooted client partnerships.
- Ensuring seamless client communication and internal coordination.
- Maintaining positive client relationships throughout project lifecycle.
- Supporting business development efforts with senior leadership and business development manager.
- Collaborating with clients to identify and obtain approvals for additional scope prior to implementation.
- Effectively advocating for client approvals and timely payment processing.
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams to establish project objectives, develop plans, and achieve targets for quality, budget, schedule, innovation, and profitability.
- Coordinating internal resources and external subcontractors.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with financial objectives.
- Defining project scope and objectives.
- Creating and monitoring project plans.
- Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Implementing a proactive risk management strategy.
