The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for quality, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Duties:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks.
- Develop automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Execute and manage comprehensive system-level testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to define test scenarios and edge cases.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and resolve issues.
- Drive innovation in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools/technologies.
- Partner with product managers, developers, and QA engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, and improve code quality.
- Guide junior QA and automation engineers in best practices.
- Provide technical expertise and training.
- Develop/maintain detailed documentation for test plans, frameworks, and scripts.
- Generate reports on test results, coverage, and metrics.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 5 years with Python, C, and C++ programming.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong coding/design skills in Python.
- Working knowledge of development tools (debuggers, memory profilers, performance management).
- Knowledge of leading-edge technologies, new methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with software development process.
- Linux/Unix experience (build, debug, scripting).
- Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Git/SVN, and Jenkins.
- Develop, configure, and maintain virtual testing platforms and simulation environments.
Background: May require Sensitive Security Information (SSI) access and vetting via TSA, federal background investigation, and/or U.S. Personal Security Clearance.
Compensation: $106,142.00 - $247,665.60/yr (location, skills, experience dependent). May include incentive compensation (bonus/commissions). Benefits include healthcare, 401k, holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave, and employee assistance program.
