Full-Time Senior Backend Engineer

About us: RevenueCat makes building, analyzing, and growing mobile subscriptions easy. We are a remote-first company handling more than $4B of in-app purchases annually. We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and help design, build, ship, and support end-to-end features and products.

About you: You should have 5+ years of experience working with large-scale systems, be comfortable with SQL, and love debugging production issues. You should be passionate about shipping high-quality code using good testing practices. Excellent communication skills are important in a fully remote culture.

First Month: Meet with the team, setup and familiarize yourself with tools and repositories. Implement and ship your first project.

First Three Months: Be able to scope and work on projects independently, learn incident response, and be part of the on-call rotation.

First Six Months: Review code, create proposals, contribute to architectural discussions, and be an expert on focus areas.

First Twelve Months: Be able to debug complex issues, have initiatives for improvements, and mentor other engineers.
