Fullscript is seeking a skilled Senior Ruby Engineer to build a platform for our users. Our team values doing things well and a great developer experience.
What you’ll do:
- Plan solution design
- Implement business logic for the core e-commerce platform
- Build and maintain integrations with external services (Stripe, Avatax, ERP)
- Build an internal API for other Fullscript teams
- Solve performance issues
- Contribute to technical improvements and quality standards
- Conduct code reviews and mentorship
What you bring to the table:
- Passionate about software engineering
- Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails
- Strong testing skills
- Desire to learn and open to feedback
- Understanding of design patterns and clean code
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Willing to work in a full-stack team
- Bonus: Experience scaling high-scale web applications, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, React, GraphQL, e-commerce, or health-tech.
