The Senior BIM Consultant will collaborate with a skilled team delivering and implementing BIM from strategy to project level for global clients. Duties include:
- Capturing client requirements and developing a BIM strategy.
- Understanding Civil/Architecture/Mechanical design and construction.
- Authoring BIM documentation and workflows aligned with industry best practice.
- Leading and managing BIM rollout and implementation across projects.
- Communicating BIM strategy, documentation, and workflows to stakeholders.
- Identifying risks and appropriate mitigations.
- Interfacing with clients, design teams, and contractors.
- Leading and managing a team.
- Facilitating stakeholder meetings and workshops.
- Reviewing project models and conducting clash detection.
- Analyzing construction documentation and project data.
- Writing detailed reports.
- Peer reviewing colleague's work to maintain quality standards.
- Supporting colleagues with project deliverables.
- Contributing to Turner & Townsend BIM documentation and processes.
- Creating and contributing to bid proposals.
- Providing line management to colleagues.
- Conducting research and development of emerging technologies.
- Championing digital services.
- Adhering to SOx controls.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and 5+ years of post-graduate BIM management experience in commercial real estate construction. Data Center experience preferred.
Required Skills include understanding of emerging technology, industry and international BIM standards, construction, BIM project roles, common data environments, and 3D modeling software (Revit, ArchiCAD). Experience with construction documentation, on-site work, 3D model interrogation, and clash detection software (Solibri, Navisworks) is also required.
Personal Skills: Ability to work independently, within diverse teams, defining and writing BIM strategies and implementation plans. Excellent communication skills to all stakeholders, ability to lead project meetings and presentations, workshop skills, collaborative team contributions, methodical approach, and a confident and inquisitive nature.
