Full-Time Senior Biostatistician/Data Scientist

We enable rapid deployment of research studies, cutting through traditional research inefficiencies. We've run many studies across various therapeutic areas.

The Opportunity: We seek a Senior Biostatistician/Data Scientist to translate research needs into robust study designs and impactful analyses, ensuring life sciences clients derive value.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and execute statistical aspects of multiple research projects.
• Provide expert guidance on study design, statistical methods, sample size, and power analyses.
• Develop SAPs for observational research studies, leveraging primary and secondary data.
• Transform observational study data into actionable insights.
• Partner with internal teams and clients to develop robust protocols, data and quality management plans, and publications.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity, and proactively identify data quality gaps.
• Present statistical findings and lead data trainings.
• Become a subject matter expert on data and lead technical initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and drive team-wide process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in (bio)statistics, epidemiology, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in quantitative roles, preferably at a pharmaceutical/biotech company, CRO, or similar.
• Advanced R and tidyverse experience.
• Experience leading SAPs for observational and real-world data studies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, translating complex concepts.
• Collaborative approach, working cross-functionally.
• Intellectual curiosity, strong organizational skills, and a flexible mindset.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Command-line tools, Git, SQL, R package building experience.
• Experience with other statistical software.
• Familiarity with clinical ontologies and standard data formats.
• Experience managing data submissions to regulatory authorities.
• Tech/start-up experience.
