Our client, an energy trading company, is developing a next-generation ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) system. This project offers a chance to contribute to the entire software development lifecycle of a high-impact system, collaborating with business, technology, and risk management functions.
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years of Business Analysis experience in FinTech or Energy.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, digital banking, payments, and regulatory frameworks (or energy market analytics, renewable energy trends, and asset management)
- Experience with big data tools and ETL platforms (AirFlow, Kafka, Postgres, MongoDB).
- Proficiency in data modeling, BPMN, UML, ERD diagrams, and business process mapping.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and requirement elicitation.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and wireframing/mockup tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fluent English (C1 or higher)
- Fluency in the Ukrainian language.
Will be a plus:
- Experience working with financial institutions, banking platforms, energy trading platforms, or renewable energy analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and optimize business processes through data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
- Documentation: Develop BRDs, FSDs, and User Stories.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Solution Design & Implementation: Work with development teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
