Full-Time Senior Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst is responsible for interfacing with clients to define business and technical requirements. This client-facing role is key in a growing sector, playing a vital role in projects. Senior Business Analysts are integral to solution delivery, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure aligned solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
• Act as the main point of contact between business and technical teams.
• Facilitate collaborative sessions at all levels to improve people, process, and technology.
• Execute presentations focusing on leadership, solution focus, and solution mindfulness.
• Document current state processes, workflows, and systems in detailed process maps, user stories, etc.
• Ensure clear communication of complex solutions.
• Perform gap analysis to assess current and desired states of systems, processes, and solutions.
• Develop and present recommendations to close identified gaps.
• Define and design the future state of business processes, systems, and technologies.
• Lead the process of gathering and analyzing requirements for greenfield projects, capturing all stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with technical teams to understand requirements, assisting in design and delivery of actionable solutions.
• Partner with project and client teams, including executives, to drive seamless execution.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior BAs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or related field. Master's degree beneficial.
• Proven experience facilitating conversations with senior leaders.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic/analytical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading client-facing engagements.
• Previous experience in executive presentations.
• Minimum 8 years experience as a Business Analyst, ideally focusing on greenfield projects or business intelligence solutions.
• Strong expertise in eliciting and documenting business requirements.
• Knowledge of process mapping tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart).
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) a plus.

Travel Requirements:

• 5-7 trips per year, up to 24 days.
• Candidates residing in specific states (WI, IL, MI, OH, IN, AR, SC, PA, SD, AZ, FL) are prioritized.
• Not seeking candidates in CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT, MA.
