Full-Time Senior CEQA/NEPA Manager

• Provides critical oversight and coordination of environmental processes to ensure timely delivery of project clearances.
• Supports the development, review, and quality control of CEQA/NEPA documents, while guiding teams and consultants to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinates with technical disciplines, agencies, and stakeholders to align environmental deliverables with project schedules.
• Essential to keeping environmental approvals on track and aligned with broader project goals.

• Coordinates to manage the environmental component of projects program wide.
• Ensures timely and quality preparation of NEPA/CEQA environmental documents.
• Attends weekly team meetings with various disciplines.
• Assists in monitoring project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provides direction to regional consultants regarding Authority standards, quality, and expectations.
• Verifies document content conforms with Authority standards, procedures, and methodologies.
• Represents Authority environmental planning and NEPA/CEQA compliance needs.
• Attends agency and stakeholder meetings.
• Tracks environmental schedule and deliverables.

BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience.

• 10 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s/Graduate degree in environmental planning, environmental science, or a closely related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of federal (NEPA) and state (CEQA) environmental law.
• Understanding of project management concepts.
• Experience with highspeed intercity passenger rail, transit planning, or linear infrastructure projects.
