Full-Time Senior Chatbot Technical Lead

We are seeking a Senior Chatbot Technical Lead for Flash to spearhead the development and design of our chatbot application for Western Digital employees across various business domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, plan, and execute the product roadmap.
• Develop integration layers and APIs for third-party service integrations.
• Solve customer issues using a text-based UI to provide personalized and timely information.
• Design end-to-end conversational interactions, addressing potential issues and following conversational rules (branching, interruptions, resolution flows, error messages).
• Collaborate closely with the team, project managers, end-users, and support engineers for high-quality product delivery with a flexible and scalable architecture.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Participate in broader technical discussions.
• Work with the Technical Project Manager to address technical challenges.
• Deliver complete, end-to-end solutions.
• Track and communicate bot key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 3-5 years of experience building chatbots
• API experience
• Software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience
• Agile/Scrum team experience
• Excellent communication, writing, and speaking English skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for technology and innovation
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines
• Teamwork and pressure-handling skills
