The RoleAs ShiftCare scales, the requirements of our platform and team evolve. You'll be involved in:
- Scaling infrastructure across multiple AWS regions
- Building resilient, self-healing systems
- Improving CI/CD pipelines
- Contributing to the Terraform codebase and Dockerfiles
- Building cloud infrastructure focusing on scalability, high-availability, and security
- Collaborating with the engineering team and wider business
- Proposing improvements and contributing to the platform's continuous evolution
- Participating in routine security, reliability, and DR exercises
What You'll Do
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Drive architectural decisions aligned with company goals
- Maintain ShiftCare's security and reliability
- Take ownership of critical components and contribute to the technology stack
- Contribute to secure, reliable, and scalable Cloud infrastructure solutions
- Implement robust monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., New Relic, CloudWatch)
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Identify and implement improvements to products and processes
About You
- Experience shipping scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems in AWS
- Passionate about cloud infrastructure, security, and building secure solutions
- Comfortable with multiple infrastructure aspects (e.g., ACLs, security services, networking, compute, CI/CD, deployments)
- Passionate about continuous improvement and excellence
- Thrives in autonomous roles to identify problems, drive solutions, and encourage team growth
