Full-Time Senior Cloud Infrastructure FinOps Engineer

Cint is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure FinOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team.

As a Cloud Infrastructure FinOps Engineer, you will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. You will focus on automation, performance, and reliability, and ensure cost-efficient operations through FinOps practices.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to cloud cost visibility and optimization efforts.
• Support tagging strategies and cost attribution tooling.
• Integrate FinOps data into engineering workflows.
• Lead technical FinOps initiatives and champion a FinOps mentality across R&D.
• Automate the build and deployment of software to our cloud platform.
• Evolve tagging strategies for accurate cloud cost attribution.
• Enhance monitoring and alerting systems.
• Provide insights and context to product and engineering teams.
• Align infrastructure practices with cost-aware operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in cloud infrastructure roles (AWS) with DevOps and FinOps exposure.
• Proficiency in AWS native FinOps tools or third-party vendors.
• Understanding of cost drivers and financial principles in a cloud environment.
• Experience with AWS via CLI and/or API.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code with Terraform and supporting tools (Ansible, Packer).
• Knowledge of building and running Docker images/containers.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, TravisCI, GitHub Actions).
• Grasp of “cloud native” and 12-Factor applications.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (Graphite, Statsd, Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty).
• Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, Ruby, Node, Golang, Java).
