Full-Time Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (Networking)

Scalable Capital was built in the cloud from day one. Our services leverage a variety of serverless technologies. The Network Engineering team is part of the Core Tribe, which manages the cloud platform that underpins Scalable's entire infrastructure.

As part of the Network Engineering team:

• You will be responsible for improving Scalable's cloud infrastructure and automation using tools such as AWS, Terraform, and Python or Go
• You will design, maintain, and operate multiple cloud networks on AWS
• You will maintain financial middleware systems
• You will support, guide and empower our engineering teams

Must have:

• Multiple years of hands-on experience with core AWS services
• Proficient and experienced with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
• Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language like Python or Go

Preferably experience with:

• Network Firewall, WAF, Site-to-Site VPN, Client VPN, Direct Connect, ECS / Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, and S3
• A passion for automating and improving processes

Nice to Have: Experience in managing VPNs and/or Leased Lines, plus low level network debugging (tcpdump), and Cisco IOS XE (IPsec and GRE). A degree in a relevant field of study. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
