Full-Time Senior ColdFusion Engineer

Business Unit Mission: M3 Global Research, an M3 company, is seeking a Senior ColdFusion Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, developing complex applications, and demonstrate a deep understanding of software development concepts, lifecycles, and Agile methodologies. This role focuses on system design, coding, performance improvement, collaboration, and testing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and deliver scalable solutions using modern cloud-based architectures.
• Continuously develop, release, monitor, and improve systems and services.
• Establish and promote best practices in software development processes.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful, high-quality applications.
• Manage scope and deliver iterative improvements to projects.

Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of ColdFusion, SQL, and Node.js
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Knowledge and experience with other languages such as PL/SQL, Java/JSP, jQuery, HTML 4/5, CSS, PHP, Ruby, ASP.NET (beneficial).
• Familiarity with Bootstrap, React, Angular frontend frameworks (beneficial).
• Familiarity with Oracle and/or other relational database experience
• Source control/Git
• Knowledge of development for mobile devices (beneficial)
• Proficient in secure coding practices and familiar with standards such as OWASP Top Ten and SANS CWE, with a commitment to ongoing education, audits, and adapting to evolving security threats
• Teamwork oriented
• Exceptional ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and priorities
• Ingenuity and the willingness to learn new techniques.
• Superior problem-solving ability; an analytical mindset
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written

Education and Training Required: Bachelor’s Preferred or relevant years of experience
