Senior Construction and Design Project Manager will manage all phases of assigned construction projects from inception to opening. The primary responsibility is to ensure projects are completed according to CI guidelines, on time and within budget.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews and influences renderings and interior designs for construction(s), remodeling(s), and design(s).
- Manages all facets of project management from design to handover, including schedule and budget.
- Reviews bids and provides feedback on accuracy and value engineering opportunities.
- Tracks financials and costs to ensure alignment with project budget.
- Conducts site visits as necessary to ensure design expectations, quality standards, and project timelines are being met.
- Works with third-party vendors to supply FFE.
- Provides status reports to Executive Director of Construction and operations on progress of projects on a weekly basis.
- Communicates with internal stakeholders on project status and known risks.
- Hosts project meetings (weekly, bi-weekly) with internal and external team.
- Meets with external vendors to review quality of existing products.
- Audits existing vendors to ensure they are in line with SIXT standards.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and construction in addition to management of construction projects – airport experience a plus
- First-hand experience in managing projects, teams, and timelines
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and construction contracts
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe programs
- Experience in architectural software such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Able to travel 20-30% of the time
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States without work authorization sponsorship for this position now or in the future
