Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project / Program Manager to lead complex construction projects within a life sciences portfolio. This role will serve as the day-to-day interface with our corporate client, overseeing the planning, design, and execution of large-scale biopharmaceutical facilities and research labs. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in construction project management.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans.
- Coordinate design efforts.
- Lead engineering and construction teams.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
- Develop and manage master project budgets and schedules.
- Provide financial analysis and forecasting.
- Track and report on actual costs.
- Lead cross-functional project teams.
- Communicate project status to senior leadership.
- Manage third-party vendors and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Implement and uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures.
- Lead QA/QC efforts.
- Lead value engineering sessions.
- Oversee project documentation.
- Resolve outstanding issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience managing design and construction of commercial or life sciences facilities.
- Proven track record in delivering high-quality, complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
