This role supports the organization in providing project management services to life sciences companies and other institutions to advance products (therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics, and devices), primarily in public health and infectious diseases, as well as chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense threats.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting services for LBG's clients.
- Maintain alignment of project milestones to day-to-day activities.
- Manage project deliverables (reports, dashboards, etc.) and routine updates (schedule, budget, risk).
- Establish strong working relationships with leadership and project functional teams.
- Serve as project spokesperson and facilitate communications with stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive program activities.
- Manage project financials (vendor invoice review/approval, budget development, actuals tracking, financial forecast, reports).
- Proactively manage strategic risks and issues.
- Demonstrate and foster teamwork, navigating across different areas and disciplines.
- Balance project demands to align budget, quality, timeline, and scope.
- Lead product development meetings.
- Focus on customer service with clear communication.
- Drive strategic planning.
- Adhere to LBG quality standards.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 10 years in life sciences, with 5 years in project management.
- 2+ years managing US government-funded programs.
- Experience with project financial management.
- Understanding of project management principles.
- Fluency in MS Project (and/or other scheduling software), Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Certified PMP and/or Master's in Project Management or related field.
- BS in Biology, Chemistry, or relevant field.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, cGXP guidelines, and FDA regulatory requirements.
Compensation: $105,000 - $161,000 (annual)
