The Role: ITHAKA seeks an experienced Senior Copywriter to join our creative team. You'll develop compelling marketing copy, partner with creatives, product marketers, and channel specialists to grow brand awareness and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative, persuasive content for various marketing materials.
- Collaborate on brand and style guides and internal processes.
- Understand target audience and brand voice for consistent messaging across all channels (digital ads, landing pages, websites, emails, social media, product descriptions, videos).
- Lead messaging and copywriting for new product launches and campaigns.
- Manage a junior copywriter, reviewing and editing content across various channels.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technologies (AI-assisted writing).
- Maintain high editorial standards for accuracy and consistency.
- Optimize content for SEO and drive traffic to digital platforms.
- Collaborate with designers on integrated marketing campaigns.
- Mentor in-house and freelance content contributors.
- Practice prioritization and time management.
- Contribute to a collaborative creative culture.
Experience & Skills:
- 7+ years of progressive experience as a marketing copywriter, preferably with agency and in-house experience.
- Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years of experience may substitute.
- Experience creating cohesive marketing campaigns, persuasive landing pages, and email marketing.
- Experience collaborating with designers and writers on brand standards, voice, and tone.
- Experience with user/customer testimonials and stories.
- Experience with scriptwriting or storytelling for multimedia.
- Collaborative, positive, and enthusiastic approach.
- Familiarity with SEO and digital content best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Monday.com, Asana, and other relevant tools.
Compensation: $77,500 - $97,000 per year.
