The Public Cloud Portfolio Unit operates nationally and internationally for medium-sized and large companies. We develop, market, and operate agile cloud-native products. Our mission: To help customers transform to a digitized, cloud-native future.
Your Department: We run Open Telekom Cloud, a public cloud product based on open-source software and DevSecOps principles. We're the anchor point for Public Cloud in the Deutsche Telekom Group, measured by delivering a secure, stable, and innovative platform.
Your Tasks:
- Develop and enhance customer cloud-based business applications.
- Plan and execute technical workshops at customer sites.
- Work in a team, helping each other.
- Advise on OpenStack-based public cloud technology.
- Automate using common frameworks.
- Work at the console.
Your Profile:
- Technical, engineering, or scientific degree or comparable experience.
- 3-5 years IT experience focused on modern cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud and container architectures.
- Infrastructure automation experience.
- Ability to assess and develop technical solutions.
- Experience in technical workshops or customer consulting.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Mentoring and presentation skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of agile development processes, OpenStack, and open-source programming.
