Your Role: As a Data Engineer at 0x, you'll shape our culture and practices, thrive in ambiguity, and contribute to data-driven decisions for 0x and the Ethereum community.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Data Team, Product Managers, and Engineers to enhance data accessibility.
- Develop and maintain efficient, scalable ETL pipelines for real-time and batch data processing.
- Develop and maintain 0x Data APIs for internal and external applications.
- Develop and maintain data observability processes and standards.
- Promote innovation, guiding the team in exploring new data technologies.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation.
- Mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Data Engineer experience.
- 1+ years of Ethereum or Solana experience.
- Experience building and operating highly available data pipelines.
- Experience with Apache Kafka or similar pub/sub systems.
- Familiarity with programming (Python, TypeScript, Node, or Go).
- Passion for decentralization and the 0x mission.
