Role DescriptionAs a Senior Data Scientist on the Analytic Services team, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making for our clients. You will develop and apply media measurement methodologies and analytic solutions using LiveRamp’s suite of products. This role combines technical proficiency with strategic client engagement, requiring innovation and logic in applying statistical methods and analytical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead data discovery sessions with clients to understand their needs and translate them into analysis requirements.
- Consult and advise clients and internal teams on audience strategy, experimental design, data requirements, and post-campaign measurement using statistical and mathematical concepts to drive business solutions and actionable recommendations.
- Leverage technical expertise to work with large datasets, generating accurate and actionable insights.
- Create compelling presentations and communicate complex analytical concepts to various audiences.
- Build expert knowledge of data sources for enrichment and collaboration.
- Advise clients on leveraging data for insight, segmentation, measurement, and activation.
- Engage with Engineering and Product teams to contribute to the data science product roadmap.
- Collaborate with Product teams on training material and best practices.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Math, Statistics, Predictive Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in digital AdTech or professional services.
- Hands-on fluency in SQL, Python, PySpark, BigQuery, and/or R.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, etc.
- Strong proficiency in campaign test design, media optimization, statistical modeling, and segmentation.
- Strong quantitative and research skills with ability to tell data-driven stories and articulate recommendations.
- Attention to detail and time management; producing high-quality client-ready deliverables.
- Proficient in integrating multiple data sources and utilizing analytical approaches.
- Exceptional communication skills; conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
