Full-Time Senior Data Scientist

Experian Consumer Services is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to develop personalized financial solutions for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Extract insights from data and deliver ML projects from start to finish.
• Understand business needs, train/validate ML models, and deploy them to applications.
• Develop ML algorithms with large datasets to solve business problems.
• Monitor and enhance the performance of existing algorithms.
• Discover new data sources and create new input features for ML models.
• Build end-to-end data pipelines for ML models.
• Communicate analytical results to team members.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data science or statistical modeling.
• Experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
• Proficiency in statistical modeling techniques (regression, support vector machines, neural networks).
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP).
• Knowledge of deep learning algorithms (convolutional neural networks, recurrent neural networks).
• Experience with cluster computing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark).
• Proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages (Python, R).
• Working knowledge of SQL.
