Senior Delivery Manager
We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our growing PAR Retail Team. The Senior Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading delivery and deployment of PAR Retail’s Platform for both new and existing Customers. You will work collaboratively across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and 3rd parties to ensure high-quality on-time delivery of programs in support of driving business outcomes for PAR Retail’s Customers.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3 years of Agile Delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies
- At least 8 years of Technology/Software Project Delivery experience
- 3+ years of experience using Jira and Confluence
- Bachelor’s degree
- Results-oriented, collaborative team player with a keen ability to demystify and streamline processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills; able to present technical subject matter across a variety of stakeholder levels
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Self-driven with the ability to work in a self-guided manner
- Great organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to manage direct reports
With a Side of (Highly Preferred):
- Certification(s) are a plus: CSM, CSP, SAFe, or PMP
- Experience in the retail and/or payments industry is highly ideal, but not required.
What you will be doing and owning:
- Developing program/project plans and driving the delivery for PAR Retail’s largest customers
- Leading and mentoring a team of product delivery leads
- Providing proactive verbal and written communications appropriate for different stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Addressing internal and external program risks, issues, and dependencies, even when ownership lies outside the team
- Escalating appropriately, especially when timelines could be impacted
- Owning and driving improvements to delivery processes based on learnings, new technologies/tools, and methodologies
- Ensuring efficient transition to operational teams with documented plans and training materials
- Facilitating workshops and meetings, driving conversations with cross-functional teams and customers
- Building relationships with other project teams, manage changes, bridge communication gaps, resolve conflicts, and reach agreements across teams
- Being flexible enough to work through ambiguity and bring clarity in a fast-paced environment where change is frequent
- Proven success in leading multiple projects simultaneously
- Passionate about solving business problems with technology
- Performing other duties, as required
