This Senior DevOps Engineer role supports a global organization, driving cloud transformation initiatives, standardizing platform architecture, and ensuring compliance across multiple business units. The role involves leading complex migration efforts, defining scalable and secure cloud-native architectures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures using GCP services.
- Lead cloud migration strategies for large-scale environments.
- Define and enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams.
- Develop landing zones and advanced networking configurations.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with GCP
- 7+ years of DevOps experience
- Experience in regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Technical Skills:
- Compute: GCE, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions.
- Storage & Databases: Cloud SQL, Spanner, Bigtable, Firestore, BigQuery.
- Networking: VPC, Interconnect, Cloud DNS, Cloud Armor.
- Security: IAM, Organization Policies, VPC Service Controls.
- Analytics: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Data Fusion.
